But why? No, really, why are we claiming it to be the best?
We believe that our Lip Gleem is so high quality, because of its unique combination of natural ingredients. Here are three effects this combination has in our Neem lip balm:
1. Protective– We use a sweet-flavored Neem extract, not the bitter tasting, bad smelling Neem. Saharan desert Neem, which we use in all products, has much higher natural protective compounds than other Neem, because it is challenged to survive on a very strong immune system that protects the tree on a day-to-day basis in the harsh desert climate. We extract these protective measures and put them into our lip balm. That’s one reason why our lip balm is so special and works so well.
2. Moisturizing– We use Mango butter in our lip balm, an exotic oil with a buttery feel. Mango butter is a super moisturizer that comes from the Mango tree and contains Vitamins A and E, which makes it a natural antioxidant. Lips are prone to crack in dry or cold air, because the skin is very thin. All the more reason to use a butter that is absorbed well and long-lasting! And speaking of Mango trees . . . here is something you might not know: JustNeem plants Mango trees in our orchard in the Sub-Saharan desert right next to our Neem trees. And this year, for the first time, we will reap the fruit of our labor! We will have a MANGO HARVEST this summer!
3. Repairing– We use natural Vitamin E (Tocopherol) in our lip balm. Vitamin E combats oxidation from free radicals, molecules that damage the collagen in our skin. The result of that damage is skin dryness, fine lines, and wrinkles. Don’t we all want to avoid these fine lines around our lips as we’re getting older? Wouldn’t we do anything to make our lips look beautiful as long as we can? Well, JustNeem lip balm might just do the trick for you!
Fun Facts about Lip Balms:
Did you know that the first lip balm was invented by Charles Browne Fleet (1843 – 1916) in Richmond, Virginia? Besides the first “chap stick” ever, he also invented the . . . enema! What a combination!
Before the invention of the chap stick, ear wax was used to protect lips! Smart and natural, yeah, but . . . yuck!
Nowadays, some people like it cheesy . . .
others like it hot . . .
and yet, others like it sour as a pickle.
